Abstract
From everyday experience it is wellknown that the way in which alcohol affects human behavior and emotions varies to a considerable degree between different persons and different situations. The same dose of alcohol might elicit varying responses — even contrasting effects. This phenomenon depends on a number of factors attributable to the person himself, to his environment, and to the circumstances under which drinking takes place. In other words, there are no consistent relationships between amount of alcohol consumed and the intensity and characteristics of the effects induced.
