Abstract
We have been able to identify two different cell populations originating from young (4-week-old) and old (8-to-9-month-old) I.C.R. mouse kidneys explanted and transferred to new organ culture dishes every 24 hr. The explants were bathed in Eagle’s minimal essential medium with Hanks’ salts and 10% calf serum, supplemented with glutamine and antibiotics.
