Abstract
The present session dealt with some aspects of the roles of microenvironments in development of the various lymphoid cell populations. It started with studies on the tissue origin of lymphoid stem cells, continued with migration patterns of those cells and finally led us to homing and the effects of the microenvironments on cell differentiation. Let us sum up what were the specific questions we wanted to answer, which answers we got and what are the open questions.
