Abstract
The purpose of this chapter is to summarize our current understanding of the comparative learning processes and capabilities of primates. The reader’s attention is directed to recent reviews of comparative primate learning (19, 20) for additional information and formulations that are related directly to the present discussion. The studies herein discussed, and those reviewed in the foregoing references, are all embraced within the domain of classic, comparative psychology.
