Abstract

The mechanism of the processes of decomposition of a number of condensation polymers under the influence of heat and oxygen has received little study, and data on their stabilization are almost entirely absent. The stabilizers known to us are effective at temperatures no higher than 200°C; hence they cannot be used for polymers characterized by a high softening point and subjected to prolonged and strong heating during use.
