Abstract
Phosphamidon is a systemic insecticide (Bachmann 1957, Anliker et al. 1961) and as such penetrates into all plant tissues treated, i. e., roots, stems, or leaves. After penetration it is translocated in the plant tissues upward from the point of application. A weak downward flow may favor the distribution of the compound in single leaves, but not in the whole plant.
