Abstract

Phosphamidon, the dimethyl phosphate of N,N-diethyl-2-chloro-3-hydroxy crotonamide,

exists as a cis-trans pair. The two isomers can be differentiated by NMR or gas liquid chromatography. The β-isomer corresponds to the cis-form.
