Abstract

In this workshop the need for research was established that would allow better decisions on concrete recycling. It was suggested that there is need for a better definition of “recovered aggregate” as well as a scheme to classify such aggregate. Moreover, it was suggested that more research is needed in the area of properties of concrete produced with pieces of old concrete as aggregate. Additionally, research is needed in the areas of production technology and quality assurance.
