The Use of Surfactants in Electrochemistry

  • Chapter
Surfactants in Solution

Abstract

A review is given of the uses of surfactants in electrochemistry. Although a summary is given of uses in analytical electrochemistry, most of the discussion is of the use of surfactants in reactions at solid electrodes with emphasis on uses in voltammetry, organic oxidation synthesis, oxidation of insoluble inorganic compounds and electrodeposition of metals.
