Single and Double Photoionization of Two-Electron Systems

Abstract

In this paper we describe a method for calculating rates for multiphoton detachment or ionization of a two-electron system by a perturbative field, we present results of an application to both H- and He, and we also report on a study of double ionization of He by one photon.
