Abstract
As in previous volumes we are pleased to include below some detailed information and comments about books that may be of interest to our readers. It should be pointed out that the primary aim of the book section of SUBCELLULAR BIOCHEMISTRY is to provide the reader with full information about the books discussed. Any critical comments (favorable or otherwise) are secondary to the main intention. It is hoped that the objective and informative approach here will be preferred to more conventional subjective book reviews, and will be of use in helping the reader to select books in an era of rising prices and shrinking funds.
