Abstract
If (X, S, µ) is a measure situation and A ∈ S, a partition of A is a sequence {A} ∞n=1 of a pairwise disjoint sets in S and such that A = U ∞n=1 A n . The measure µ is signed iff the range of µ is a subset of (-∞, ∞] or [-∞, ∞).
