Quantum Fluctuations and Statistical Properties of Intense Polariton Waves

  • Chapter

Abstract

The dynamics of the maintaining order in complex non-linear systems has recently been attracting great interest. The ordering process is related to the cooperative behaviour of the system. The appearance of order is due to some selective instability and to the competition between different possibilities and constituent parts of the system. Consideration of fluctuations in such a system is very important, especially in the vicinity of the order-disorder phase transition.1
