Issues and Reviews in Teratology

Abstract

Teratology, the science of congenital malformations, means different things to different people. It is a descriptive science to some, an explanatory science to others. Natural philosophers, anatomists, pathologists, obstetricians, pediatricians, surgeons, geneticists, epidemiologists, and public health scientists are working on teratologic problems.
