Abstract
The development of a satellite system proceeding from the concept of coherent signals allows us to increase the accuracy of absolute and relative measurements of terrestrial coordinates and to improve the accuracy of determination of satellite orbits by reducing errors of initial conditions and by using precisely measured distances between satellites. Two methods of realisation of coherent signals, emitted by satellites, are analysed. In the case of the first variant, the satellites continuously exchange frequencies whose transformation permits the realisation of coherent signals and the prescise measurement of distances between satellites. In the second variant the geostationary satellite is employed to transmit signals from the master ground-based generator to the satellites of the system and to retranslate these signals further to the user.
