Abstract
The dynamics of classical systems is governed in many examples by stochastic nonlinear differential equations of the type of a Langevin equation. Correlation functions of. such systems have been calculated using mode coupling approximations or alternatively perturbation theory. Using path integrals the framework for perturbation theory is generalized such that it yields the mode coupling results in second order. In contrast to the original mode coupling scheme higher order corrections can now be found in a systematic fashion.
