Translational Invariance in Feynman-Type Integrals

  • Chapter
Book cover Functional Integration

Abstract

Examples are constructed, which show how transla-tional invariance in Feynman-type integrals may be violated. The consequences for the action principle are noted. Furthermore, a new definition of Feynman-type integrals, based on analytic continuation, is suggested.
