Abstract
From my point of view as a prehistorian, the mathematical methods of data analysis, applied to chronological seriation, have demonstrated here brightly their validity, their utility and their coherence: The quasi-similarity of the results of two different systems is striking. It is also the effect of the choice of the method proper to that specific problem. The demonstration of the fastness of the time-variable by the study of separated lots of types is also noticeable, and quite useful. Not only these procedures reproduce the time order on which we had no doubts, and even in details, but also they give us, either confirmations of decisions on points which are sometimes strongly discussed, either even the beginning of new quite promising progresses.
