Abstract
Block copolymers of A-B di-block and A-B-A tri-block types are of special interest from the point of view of molecular designing. These copolymers are capable of forming organized structures, i.e., microheterophase structures, by casting from solutions, and resulting membranes are expected to exhibit specific functionalities. However, most of the papers appeared hitherto concerned with block copolymers in which both A and B component blocks are flexible chains as to take random coil conformation in solution.
