Abstract

An 18-year-old black man was transported to the emergency department after being struck by a car while riding his bicycle. He complained of severe pain in his left leg, as well as minimal pain over the left elbow, left flank, and right knee. He denied loss of consciousness or striking his head. His past medical history and family history were entirely unremarkable.
