Abstract
The editors of this book organized a meeting about an unusual syndrome—chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). They also applied an unusual approach to the meeting by inviting us to give the “keynote conclusions”. Although we have experience in both basic and clinical research ranging from peptide hormones to cytokines, we have no experience with CFS.
