The Missing Parts of the Puzzle

  • Chapter
The Fate of the Male Germ Cell

Part of the book series: Advances in Experimental Medicine and Biology ((AEMB,volume 424))

Abstract

I have been given a very challenging but interesting title. To cover this topic properly would require much more time and space than I have been allocated, so I intend to concentrate on only some aspects, particularly those where interesting and important questions remain which are not being currently addressed by the powerful modern techniques, which have increased our knowledge so much in certain aspects of reproductive biology over the last few years.
