Abstract

The purpose of this chapter is to discuss common renal and electrolyte disturbances in a problem-oriented fashion in order to assist in the management of these disorders in a psychiatric setting. Electrolyte disorders will often require the consultation of an internist or a nephrologist. See Table 9.1.
