Abstract
Constraints of the form Lµ p ≤ b (inequality (3.4)) are useful for representing a large variety of forbidden state problems, even when the initial specification does not appear to directly involve the states of system. This chapter will show how several common varieties of system constraints can be written in the form of (3.4), enabling the use of invariant based control.
