Abstract

In this chapter we describe classes of recovery mechanisms on an algorithmic level. We discuss their implementation in some commercial systems in the last chapter of this book. Further information on their implementation can be found in vendors system documents and in Jim Gray’s book [5] and also in Phil Bernstein’s book [1].
