Abstract
First of all I would like to thank the organizers, and in particular Environment Canada and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), for the invitation to speak to you today on the topic I have been associated with for the past twenty years, the effects of increased solar ultraviolet B radiation (UV-B), due to stratospheric ozone depletion, on biological and health systems.
