Abstract
Particle agglutination methods may include direct and indirect forms. In the direct method, particulate bacterial antigen is admixed with serial dilutions of patient’s serum. For the indirect method, an antigen carrier particle is used to enhance the observed agglutination or a non-carrier particle is used to enhance a positive signal.
