Abstract
In the previous ten chapters, we presented the WIDE project. In Part 1, we presented the context and approach of the project. In Part 2, we presented the ‘conceptual’ aspects of the project, discussing workflow model and design methodology. Part 3 presented the architectural aspects of the project, paying attention to the DBMS extensions and integration into the next-generation WFMS. In Part 4, we described how the developments from the project have been put into practice in user applications.
