Abstract
We have seen that to form a document we need to obtain content, describe the structure of that content, and add attributes. Any part of this process might be obtained from data stored earlier. However, usually the content of a document will not be the same as the content of any other document. How do we build structured documents? Broadly speaking, there are four possibilities:
-
Construct new documents within a document management environment.
-
Import documents from external sources.
-
Modify existing documents.
-
Integrate document parts.
