Abstract

In this chapter some of the major diseases which affect the profitability of the farm are discussed. How those diseases should be observed and what might be done to remove or minimize their adverse affect on the stand of cane, is looked into. The diseases discussed represent a relatively small number of those existing. Free use is made of the information provided in the literature and sources are acknowledged. 1,2
