Abstract

It is interesting that common waveform analysis has a close relation with number theory. A series of basic concepts in number theory are encountered frequently, such as the Mobius function, the divisor function, the Dirichlet multiplication, the completely mutiplicative function, and so on [1][2]. Therefore we have to introduce some concepts and prove some propositions, which will be used in following chapters.
