In the previous chapters, we gave fairly detailed descriptions of the discrete multicriterion decision methods that we think are the most widely distributed, analyzed and utilized, with both the present and the next few years in mind. We gave these methods pride of place because we feel that they best illustrate the basic concepts of multicriterion decision theory.
