We start with a historical perspective, looking at what we may have learned from the role of sterling and of the dollar in this century. Under the title `Monetary leadership and economic stability’ we have three main speakers on the list: Professor Kindleberger, Professor Skidelsky and Professor van der Wee. So Professor Kindleberger.
