Abstract
Over the last two decades, politics has undergone tremendous theoretical redefinition, since financial and economic factors in a global market economy have entered into the driving seat of political power. These are factors which determine how governments make decisions and where their priorities lie. These financial and economic factors, coupled with technology, have relativized national borders to such an extent that many individual national issues can no longer be addressed in isolation from the larger and widening international context.
