Abstract
In his statement, “Man is a complex being: he makes deserts bloom and lakes die,” Gil Stern demonstrated two extremes associated with water management. On the one hand, water can be used as a vital source for living. Mismanagement of water, however, can jeopardize the environment along with its animal and human inhabitants.
