Abstract
Anyone who has ever contemplated a smoking pipe, or a cup of coffee in which cream is being poured, must be impressed by the complexity of fluid behavior. Such complexity is not surprising, however. Yet this many-particle system has at least some simple properties, which form the topic of the present chapter.
