Effect Of Losses On The Output Voltage Of A Flux-Flow Type Josephson Oscillator

  • Chapter
Nonlinear Superconductive Electronics and Josephson Devices

Abstract

A flux-flow type Josephson oscillator (FFO), which utilizes the unidirectional flux flow (a moving vortex array) in a long Josephson junction has been consided for use as a mm and submm wave oscillator in integrated superconducting receiver systems mainly because it gives high output power and wide bandwidth.1–3
