Abstract

A new method to obtain the large N limit of a Quantum Field Theory is presented. The technique is based on a recently defined generalization of the Hidden BRST Symmetry of Stochastic Quantization. We prove various propositions that permit a concise and efficient calculation of the leading order in large N of a model. The method is illustrated by solving various examples. In particular we find a closed solution for the zero-dimensional two Her-mitian matrix model. Finally we explain how to get the higher order corrections in the 1/N expansion.
