Abstract
Actual results have shown that the Construction Industry Institute (CII) offers significant opportunities for improvement in cost, schedule, and quality on most projects, and in particular, on large projects. This paper will review the state of the construction industry, discuss how its problems are being addressed by CII, and address potential opportunities through the application of CII research products.
