Abstract

Analytical methods based on luminescence have a long history of usefulness (Udenfriend, 1969; Guilbault, 1973). Low detection limit, variety of the measurable parameters and the excellent instrumentation developed in the last 2 decades, all contribute to the widespread use of these sparkling methods.
