Abstract
We consider in this chapter a few examples of neutron diffraction research on magnetically ordered crystals. The system of experimentally determined magnetic reflections is used to determine the wave vectors of magnetic structures and to construct for them the basis functions of the irreducible representation of the space group, with which the proposed models of the magnetic structures can be described. Thus, symmetry analysis is combined in these examples with the techniques of applied neutron-diffraction research.
