Abstract
The focus of this book has been to describe the algorithms and Computer-Aided Design tools available for the synthesis of sequential circuits. As mentioned in the introduction, optimization is an integral facet of synthesis. We have concentrated on describing the theoretical and practical aspects of optimization-based sequential logic synthesis.
