Abstract
The paper describes the software package SAST developed for detection and description of periodicities and other irregular time structures in gamma-ray timing data. The package has been successfully used for the analysis of the photon arrival times measured by the COS-B satellite for gamma-ray astronomy and of the times derived from some observations of the Cerenkov telescope at the Potchefstroom University (South Africa).
