Abstract
The interactive scientific data analysis system developed for the Oriented Scintillation Spectrometer Experiment onboard the Gamma Ray Observatory is described. The Interactive GRO/OSSE Reduction Environment, or IGORE, integrates a high-level, interactive programming language, analysis tools, specialized data structures, and a standard interface all into a command-driven environment. The basic system requirements and design are summarized, followed by a description of OSSE data analysis in IGORE.
