Electrodeposition of Nickel-Iron Alloys

  • Chapter

Part of the book series: Modern Aspects of Electrochemistry ((MAOE,volume 22))

Abstract

Electrodeposition of thin Ni-Fe alloy films is very important because of their diverse applications in many different industrial fields. Applications include high-speed memory units for computers and magnetic shielding, as well as electronic wire condensers, as structures for bubble memory systems in the microelectronics industry, and in rocketry and space technology.1–10 Further, Ni-Fe coatings can be used as decorative and protective materials.
