Part of the book series: Advances in Cryogenic Engineering ((RPQN,volume 28))

Abstract

This is our third report on the development of a local interaction simulation approach (LISA), based on the use of the Connection Machine(CM). The CM is a massively parallel computer with a large number of processors (many thousands or even millions, if virtual processors are also included), connected in a programmable way, in the framework of a fixed physical wiring scheme.
