Abstract

The use of phytic acid (and/or sodium phytates) in resealed erythrocytes and consequently the potential in vivo administration of the substance was the reason for an analytical examination about the commercially available products. The purity and the structure of a 12 Na phytate (biochemical reagent) were investigated. Finally a reference substance was prepared.
