Abstract

Clinimetrics is “the science of quantification of clinical phenomena with particular attention to the validation of the outcome variables” (20). With such a definition, clinimetrics will be useful in the appreciation of the results of epidemiologic studies and the evaluation of the efficiency of drug therapy in clinical practice. (10)
