Abstract
This chapter extends the simple correlations, studied in the previous chapter, by noting some “compound” patterns — certain generalized models of complete systems. We identify several common patterns, whose attributes match the most popular sets of actual machines. Of course this does not mean that these machines all match the model exactly. It is meant to convey that the model (or models) fit the machines on most counts.
