Abstract
Stroke or cerebrovascular accident (CVA) is a rapid, nonconvulsive, focal neurological deficit resulting from an infarct or hemorrhage in the cerebral vasculature (R. D. Adams & Victor, 1989; Reitan & Wolfson, 1985).
